Why “Occam”?

The name is a nod to Occam’s razor — the principle that the simplest explanation that fits is usually the best one. Fundraising software has drifted the other way: a separate product for donations, another for events, another for email, another for reporting, each with its own price tag and its own copy of your donor list. Occam is the razor. One platform, one donor record, fewer moving parts.
